Ah, do you start before or after the Titans? Maybe when Cronus rips off Uranus' balls?

Or are we going more a Tiamat/Marduk origin?

The creation of the world by Atum should be good for a few laughs.

Creationist cancer treatment.

Creationist space program.

There's a reason why we don't have these.

I do not know who that is.

I know that they assume the governorship in the event of the governor's death, but they don't typically wield any political power...

Not a Texan but my understanding is that the Lt. Governor in Texas actually has more power than the Governor.  And that's the blind dude who took over for the bald dude in New York who had that $5000/night whore.  Lt. Governor in Illinois took over when Hair Helmet got busted for corruption trying to sell Obama's seat.

That's David Patterson, who took over for Elliot Spitzer (D-Hookers). Patterson was a blind ball of FAIL.

Right at the moment Uranus shot his star jizz into Gaia. Everything before that is hearsay.

So, when will be the massive arrests of these religious nutters who keep mandating violation of separation of church and state?

Sort of related:

I grew up going to public school. I now attend a catholic university. I must say that the open inter-faith dialogue at my uni is refreshing. Whereas religion was hush hush at my public high school, I'm now learning lots of stuff about faith and culture from Protestants and people of other religions. In this regard, allowing religion in schools is a good thing.

Of course I also understand censoring religion a bit in public schools. Mainly because parents will abuse religious freedom to their own ends.

wendy davis is running for governor. here we are talking about the Lt. governor.

2014-01-29 04:37:47 PM
State Sen. Dan Patrick and Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples indicated they think the absence of creationism in schools is an affront to Christianity.
"I don't think we have to live in a state where we need to apologize for being a Christian. ... [Creationism] is something that most Texans believe in, and our children need to be exposed to this," Staples said.

It takes major-league talent to fit this much stupid into so few words.

This shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the debate. It's not "censoring religion", it's "preventing religion from being taught as science".

What the fark is happening?   I grew up in Texas and attended the K-12 public school system and creationism at no point was even mentioned. The only exposure I had to religion we're some of the garden variety whack job classmates I assume we all experienced regardless of where we went to school.

Is this because we elected a black man? Fox News? Herpa derpa?
