Well, the guy is a Grimm; maybe he saw the reporter volking out?

2014-01-29 07:40:34 AM
And yet this guy will claim to support the Constitution...

2014-01-29 08:39:51 AM
Maybe the reporter was asking for it. What was he wearing at the time?

2014-01-29 08:40:45 AM
"No, no," Grimm says. "You're not man enough, you're not man enough. I'll break you in half. Like a boy."

Reporters have innate physiological properties that prevent unwanted assaults, like woman not getting rape pregnant. The reporter was fine and Grimm knew  it.

2014-01-29 08:43:31 AM
All Grimm did was threaten to assault and possibly kill someone who asked him something voters have a right to know about.

Why are liberals such big babies?

FTFA: "Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again, I'll throw you off this f-king balcony," Grimm said. "You're not man enough. I'll break you in half. Like a boy."

"I was annoyed. I was doing them a favor," Grimm told The Post. "The reporter took a cheap shot at the end and I verbally took him to task. I was angry and I had every right to be."

A former Grimm staffer told The Post that the congressman was a hothead who takes his rages out on journalists.

"Grimm has anger issues," the staffer said. "This is not the first time he's tried to intimidate a reporter."

Grimm said he was on a tight schedule and had previously told NY1 that he was only going to discuss the speech.

See, guys? He was just late getting to a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00 in the evening! That's all this was.

Yeah for real.  They should just act like a man and let him avoid the question completely and not demand he be held accountable.

Yeah, that sounded more than a little gay. Not normal gay, oh no, not at all. Like "I'm gonna make you squeal like a pig" kind of gay. Like picking a young man up at the bar, taking him back to your place, lubing him up and buttfarking him, then tossing him out on the street naked kind of gay. A sick, twisted, self-loathing thing, where the only way he can get off is by thoroughly humiliating and dominating another man. Because his domineering wife regularly gives it to him hard and dirty with her vibrating Feeldoe Stout, while calling him Little Princess Ariel.

I kind of liked him when he came on the scene.  Then I bumped into him at a local Denny's when he was apparently on vacation here in Orlando with his family.  He was impressed I even knew who he was, and was really open with his time even though he was vacationing.  But the politicians you meet and greet, it seems, are rarely the real person they are.

At the time, his colleague Rep. Peter King was going berserk over the "ground zero mosque."  Grimm actually confided that he thought the issue was nonsense and King was demagoguing.

And from that meeting, it was all downhill.  And accelerating.

It's 2014.  Reporters are supposed to read press releases as facts.  They don't get paid to ask questions.

He assaulted the reporter. There was no telling off, just threats. He should be charged.

What did the reporter say?  It seems like a relevant if Grimm's defense was, "The reporter took a cheap shot".  What was the "cheep shot"?  That's some nice reporting there Lou.

Also FTA:  "Grimm has anger issues," the staffer said. "This is not the first time he's tried to intimidate a reporter."

Of course he blamed the reporter, he was asking for it.

"I verbally took the reporter to task and told him off, because I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect, especially when I go out of my way to do that reporter a favor," Grimm said in a statement give to NY1.

I love how being open to the press and the public is a "favor" and not an obligation for an elected representative.

Wait, where did we get to the point that offering a mere House Rep free press time in front of a camera was the congressperson doing the news agency a favor?
I realize that the fourth estate has become more and more toothless and neutered, but have we already come this far? He's not even a senator, for crying out loud.

Whenever I hear the term "disrespectful" or any variation thereof ("I was disrespected," for example), a geyser of unbridled contempt erupts from an uncharted part of my soul. I'm not exactly certain why that is, but I'm alright with it.

Where does he get off physically threatening a reporter?

I don't mean in the first amendment sense, I mean in the sense of where does he get off physically threatening anyone? He looks more like a weener than ANTHONY WEINER. My mom could break him in half like a Kit-Kat. Which is an analogy that makes way more sense than "like a boy." I don't think you can play the alpha male card when you look like you just came back from your Bar Mitzvah.

Supposedly he was a marine, then became an FBI undercover agent.
I don't think he looks weak at all, though you don't get to see much and then there's the suit tailoring. But broad shoulders, square jaw.
