I once caught a couple of guys breaking into the house next door.  I had them come into my kitchen and call the cops and explain what they were doing breaking into the house.

Yes, I was holding a gun at the time.  I didn't get in any trouble for it ;)

How do you  overpower someone who isn't using any power against you? Shouldn't that just be "managed to power the hapless thief"?
