Any word on lineups for Man U yet? I'm curious if Moyes will go ballsy and just start Mata.

really? this? this is the headline for the most ferocious derby in the premier league? this is the best submitter could do?

2014-01-28 12:05:30 PM
if i would have submitted a link to the derby, and i was going to, i would have definitely included something about skrtel having his head stapled back together on the sidelines during saturday's fa cup match.

Let me just say: Thanks a lot for the TF Unfreakable. Didn't expect that at all.

As for the matches, can we somehow have Moyes not screw this one up? I don't want Tan to have a signature victory.

In fairness, there were only two threads submitted by mid-morning when I was looking for a thread.

You're welcome! I gifted a few out this morning on a whim.

Thanks to Polar Vortex II: Electric Boogaloo I got to work from home so that means I get to watch the Derby.

That game still amazes me. I watched every minute of it and I have to say: that's the best match I have ever seen. Couldn't be a more exciting finish. The goalkeeping equivalent of MU's comeback would be Casillas' stand against Bayer Leverkusen in the 2002 final. 3 sure goals denied in 3 consecutive plays.

Is United crying Mersey yet?

/Love watching them tumble.

Yeah, nothing would please me better than to see Tan go straight back to the Championship with Cardiff.  He doesn't deserve even a sniff of being in the BPL.

The ending to that game is dramatic...but Liverpool/Milan in Turkey is a clear winner over that one.  Milan were home and dry at 3-0 up and by the hour they were locked into a death struggle with Liverpool at 3-3.

i know i will be accused of bias, but i have to agree on this. i have the match on tape, and i still get chills watching stevie g's header and alonso's peno follow through.

Thirded. Much love brosef.

I have a bad feeling about this derby, plus the lack of movement in the window makes me really think that we'll miss on 4th and Suarez is gone.

It was that second goal that was the key.  If they don't score it and it stays 3-1 for the next 15 minutes, Milan would've comfortably saw the game out.

That second goal put Milan on edge.

I do wonder if Kagawa will see the pitch again for United. There's no big reason to keep him. He wasn't being picked as the first choice before Mata came. What happens when Mata's in?

Banked on a Swansea home win. Mostly since if we can't beat Fulham at home, we deserve to be relegated with them.
