A Wixom man police say is the Interstate 96 corridor shooter who terrorized motorists in October 2012 testified Monday that he was prompted to randomly shoot at cars after receiving "coded messages" during Detroit Tiger baseball games.

I think it's time we talked about baseball game control.

/ let's get this started

Meanwhile in whale news, Monty Whale is mocked for his claims that inaudible vibrations are causing widespread damage to the eardrums of whales and causing them to beach themselves en masse to escape the torture. Whale scientists agree that such claims are preposterous because vibrations cause sound, so no vibration could result in no sound. Mass suicides are said to be a result of aberrant cult behavior, claim whale scientists.

At what point do we decide that the right of an unquestionably diagnosed mentally ill person to own a firearm is more important than my right to life and the pursuit of happiness?

Probably the same way most people do, walked into a store and bought it.

Unless he was foaming at the mouth, or talking to his voices in public, he probably came across as a normal person.

I know and work with people on a daily basis that have no business owning guns due to questionable mental issues, but they have their guns anyway, because they passed a background check, which is easy to do if you've never been arrested before.

True story,

At the beginning of Sat television in Canada, some crazy clients were calling in with weird stories happening all over their neighborhood, blaming it on Sat TV.

Some would claim that some channels would get the neighbors dog crazy barking. One blamed bad PH in his pool but only when he was using his tv, Some claimed it was triggering lightning strikes.

Then there was the Elvis guy, who claimed that because he had an antenna on his roof, he was getting an Elvis song playing in the static on his, unplugged to the antenna and any receiver and anything else really, TV. He was adamant he was calling back and forth 5 times a day.

So clearly, tin foil hats people.

That is completely feasible. If his home was constructed in such a way and if the placement of the TV was just so, it's entirely possible that he was picking up an Elvis marathon on a radio station within the static signal on one of the dead channels. It's the same principle as holding onto the rabbit ears on an old CRT TV and maybe even doing some ballerina-like movements to get the right sweet spot for reception back in the day.

The TV need not be connected to anything in that sense because the dead channel is being fed the radio signal into the tube itself(by way of other components) through the air using nearby materials to "point it in."

I'm not an expert on this, but it's extremely common.  Of course it had nothing to do with satellites I will add, lest some farker think otherwise.

Winning an insanity defense means you get locked away until a panel of shrinks say you can leave, which is possibly never. Lawyers don't file insanity defenses unless they think their clients need it because their clients usually go away longer if they win. Insanity is not a get out of jail free card.
