(Talking Points Memo)   GOP governors to Obama. So, yeah, we'd actually kinda like that huge pile of money you want to give us to expand Medicaid, if you just have the decency to slip around to the back entrance where decent folks can't see you to drop it off   (talkingpointsmemo.com) divider line 23

If I were Obama, I'd deliver this cash in oversized check form, complete with reports and his giant, "I troll you" grin.

Didn't work for the stimulus. We'd probably need to put "FOR OBAMACARE'S MEDICAID EXPANSION" in the memo field, and the derpers would still need a few hours to study it out.

It would have to say "Obamacare" and nothing else.  He should also have some kind of free mason symbols as part of the check decoration

Typos are no different than greening the same article twice in the same day.

Got it.

Looks like there's a superfluous "s" in the headline.

I mean the TPM headline.

It's like the GOP never heard the phrase "cutting off your nose to spite your face"...

So they derped so hard against something that was really needed just to score political points with their base, that they got their base in such a frothing frenzy over it that they would disown anybody who accepted it, and now that they need to take it, they are afraid of letting their base base know it out of fear it will hurt their chances of being reelected. Good.

I hope Scott gets his head out of his arse and accepts this money. Florida is getting hit hard by this 'dead zone' in coverage.

Why would he do that? He can ride the "Obamacare is a failure" all the way to reelection at the expense of poor people. And the crazy thing is that a lot of people that will be suffering will be people that will vote him back in. You can do these things when you have an idiot base that refuse to believe that you are the cause of their suffering.

As is Georgia.  Deal is under investigation for ethics violations.  I would love to see him found guilty and removed.  Then we'd have a shot at getting a governor who is not so openly contemptuous of the working poor and poor.

/No dog in this fight - I have the socialist Tricare but still would like to see my friends without healthcare not be afraid to see a doctor.

Yeah, GA is dead against this - and all the folks I see that would be helped by this take every opportunity to rail against "Obamacare". Christmas this year with my extended family was like watching a train wreck of stupid.

/Can I haz "the common clay of the new south" for $100 Alex?
