This is what happens when you raise someone to believe that he is literally a living God.

Isn't it supposed to be everyone in the family for five generations?

2014-01-27 11:13:45 AM
Good. He should kill everyone even remotely related to his uncle.

2014-01-27 11:28:52 AM
Unfortunately, Kim Jong-Un probably isn't going to commit suicide.

2014-01-27 11:55:17 AM
Kim Jong-un commented on his uncle's death saying that the ruling party was stronger after being purged of "factional filth".

"Factional filth" is going to be my alt name. I can't play an instrument.

/But seriously, it's just not that funny. Somebody help me out here.

That family reunion just keeps getting smaller and smaller.

I think the reason that we are so offended by this is that the equivalent act here in the U.S. would be killing off some Congressmen or CEOs along with their families and we know that only the poor grunts who we ship overseas are supposed to die. Which is why we only get national brouhaha when the school shootings happen at schools afflicted with affluenza.

As for the rutabagas and dental floss, they'll save up airfare if they're in bed before 8:00 but not too hot.

Maybe.  The article notes that the source has been wrong in the past.

In the days following Thaek's execution there were rumors that his body had been fed to a pack of 120 dogs, although this story is now believed to have originated from a satirical post on a Chinese social network.

They have satire in China?

I heard they had him stand in the middle of a bombing range.  Vaporized.

Your a moron.
You do know that most of those "poor grunts" turn out to be very successful people and some even ceo's or congresspersons.

FTA: "Among those allegedly executed from Thaek's family are his brother-in-law and the country's ambassador to Cuba Jon Yong-jin and Thaek's nephew and ambassador to Malaysia Jang Yong-chol. The two diplomats were both recalled from their positions back to North Korea earlier this month. "

You know, if I had learned that a high-ranking family member had been executed recently, I might just not go home and disappear permanently. Just sayin'

So...if you were related to Thaek and were actually NOT in North Korea, why go back when "recalled" when you pretty much know how the play ends?

You're getting your executions confused. I think one of the generals was executed by bombing range late last year. They wanted no trace left of him. Hasn't been verified from what I know, but it hasn't been debunked either.

At this point I'd be expecting defections among the foreign service staff still abroad.

Probably because they didn't receive the message directly.

The embassy's political officer (or whatever the NK equivalent is) probably got it, then took them into custody and bundled them on a plane.
