Now that's some weapons-grade silly right there.  Granted, butts and boogers remain the locker-room's standard of erudite thought, but that effort was a wagonload of awesome and not once did I have to see a man smell his finger.

Bravo.

Football is the ultimate alpha male sport. It's for the toughest and strongest, both physically and mentally. The men live by a warrior's code, something you probably cannot begin to understand.

I used to enjoy the Super Bowl, back when it was just a football game with maybe an hour or two of pregame hype.  Then it turned into some giant media monster that seems to start up an entire day before kick off, so then I would just keep the game on while doing something else and pay attention to the commercials.  Then I would skip the game entirely and just watch the commercials online.  Now, I do not even bother with that.  The game and the commercials are just not worth it any more.

Of course, with the prospect of a cold outdoor game I just might watch it this year.  But until the League decides to allow for an equal chance by all stadiums to host the Super Bowl it is really just a farking joke.  I personally would love to see the Super Bowl up in Green Bay.

Football is an outdoor sport, or at least it's supposed to be.

All football games should be played in open air on natural grass.

It's fun to watch those games during the season.. But not for a Super Bowl. I want to see which team is best in the perfect scenario..

It's obvious Seattle has the best defense.. The cold would completely hinder the broncos.. I want to see if the Seahawks defense can actually stop the broncos offense in a perfect weathered game.

The Super Bowl should always be in a state where the weather this time of year is nice.. Or in a dome.

The NFL, in it$ infinite wi$dom, has decided that the Super Bowl host metro area should have 25000 weapons-grade hotel rooms available. So no, you're never going to see a Super Bowl outside of one of the major metro/TV market/tourism areas.

Speaking of unexpected, it's kinda weird that the both Seahawks and Broncos were heavily favored to make it to the SB from before the season started, and then actually did.  Seems to me things never pan out that way for both conferences, usually because of injuries and new upstart teams or rookies shaking up the order of things.

Meh. That almost describes me.  I don't pay for cable TV, it's a waste of money, and the only thing I really miss is live sporting events. I miss having the football game or golf on the TV on Sunday as I putter around the house cleaning and whatnot. Basically I've just learned to go without watching sports which really makes me an outcast at the water cooler but still, fark paying for cable. That's at minimum $80 less student loan debt every month.

Yup that's the problem. Specifically green bay is a city of 100k and not enough hotels to host all of the people that would fly in.
Also it is cold as hell up here. I'm suprised my car started
