Yeah, and not only that, but TFA states:  "It may be awhile before Lakemaid Beer can officially deliver its beer by drone. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) currently restricts the commercial use of drones by small businesses, and remote verification of the legal drinking age of ice anglers will need to be addressed. The FAA is expected to issue new regulations governing the commercial use of drones by 2015."

What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen drone?

So I was driving to work last week and there was an NPR thing on drones when it suddenly occurred to me that we aren't that far from people or neighborhood stores having drones for delivery.  I totally can see me sending my drone to pick up some beer or the Chinese joint delivering with a drone.  You order from your phone and the drone hones in on the gps coordinates of the phone.

Even the gps coordinates are bs, that's the intowne marina on lake Waconia no doubt about it.
/fake video is fake

Can't wait for kids to grab their slingshots and knock them out of the sky for the chance for free beer. Depending on how well they're packaged, the bottles might survive the tumble to the ground.

Likewise for the Amazon.com drones. Some people see speed and convenience, I see the future of air drone piracy.

Please stop with these stupid gimmicks

That's why drones need machine guns. So they can remove the living room window in order to reach your phone.
