Denver really needs to step up its hype game a bit to catch up with Seattle's pre-owl media and fan chatter.

In my old Deadhead days I walked around the Meadowlands (Giants Stadium) many times. Very scary and not recommended.

If he was a man he'd do it in his boxers wearing a sandwich-board with a racial epithet written on it and his backup would be two blocks away.

So, he'll just get mugged rather than carjacked.

Not quite "Did you know Jerome Betts is from Detroit?" material, Broncos.

Well, he'll have to walk.  No doubt the traffic on the bridge will be all backed up.

...all the way to his next gig, as a costumed clown for a kid's birthday party, to drown out his sorrows from losing the Super Bowl so damned badly...

Denver is staying quiet while PFM breaks down the Seattle defense.

Sleep well, Seahawks fans!

Either way, as long as he doesn't have to go back to Cleveland.

I am quite sure Cleveland makes Paterson look like that section of that Chicago suburb that John Hughes always used in his movies...

He wouldn't anyway because that trip is reserved for the MVP, which he most certainly will not be.

The Broncos side is just acting like they have been there before and won it.

Oh wait, they have.

Twice.

Unwad your panties.  Regardless of the outcome you Seahawk fans will be biatching about something, regardless of the outcome.

Is there a point to him doing this?  Is it for charity?  Is it to raise awareness?  If so, awareness of what, that it's a crappy city?  It's in New Jersey, so the fact that it's crappy is assumed.

I hear if he wins Peyton is going to Omaha

I used to live right outside of Paterson, and now I live right outside of Newark, so uh, yeah, this is pretty accurate.

I suspect there are some un-crappy cities in NJ....

I don't know where you're from, but NJ isn't really big enough to have more than one or two big cities. I just asked a bunch of trusted friends and family about Atlantic City and they correctly told me to not bother.

Once he gets into East Rutherford proper, it shouldn't be difficult. But getting from the stadium into ER through all that highway-laced swampland is not going to be fun or easy.

I was born in Paterson. Adams is correct about the city. In fact, the hospital I was born in no longer exists.

Been to Patterson twice for Jury Duty. Only felt safe because courthouse is on same block as police station.
