Let's hope that SyFy can help keep Ian Ziering  off Obamacare.

Well, cats can fly now. We're screwed.

It was probably a gustnado or a landspout. They tend to cause very little damage and are short-lived.

This is truly a CAT-ASTROPHE!!!

Tale as reported by Beeb said, No Hoo-mons or Cats were injured in or by this.  That's quite excellent.
Production budget for Catnado  TV show might be horrific.  Minimum requirement, 385 stone (not pounds but stone @ 14 lb each!) of tuna for Those Starring.  None of this tinned garbage either -- needs be freshly caughtWe won't go to humane-catch territory right now

Also Special Costuming might be useful since Cats Gonna Fly --  parachutes highly recommended.

...and now I'm thinking of that one scene from "Twister", but with cats...

There's such a thing as a mini-tornado?

2014-01-26 11:51:59 AM
No, no.  Cats can do that all by themselves.  They are, after all, the Pets of Satan.

I was in Sutton on a bus when this thing blew through.  I didn't think tornado but it was the most violent 3 minutes of weather I've ever experienced in my life.  The whole bus was shaking and everybody was looking at each other like "what the fark is going on?"  Definitely a microburst even if it wasn't rotational.

Wouldn't Purricane be scarier?

While this is accurate, it is not relevant. You should probably RTFA. :p

Catnado follows closely behind Tunado and Salmonado.

I think the next SyFy flick should be  Fartnado.

Followed by  Fartquake, Farticane, and Fartnami.

Britney Spears: "Eww..What's that smell?"
Erik Estrada: "Oh my God! It's a Fartnado! COVER YOUR NOSE!"

2014-01-26 03:45:51 PM
By the way, since someone at SyFy stole my word "Sharknado" from a satirical post I made years ago, I just want to point out that I fully expect Fartnado to be ripped off soon.

And here I went and wrote a screenplay for "Wolfcano" for nothing. Note that this screenplay could be filmed with a low budget provided the wolves were rendered with really terrible CGI. Sequel ideas? Shrimpocalypse and Piranhurricane, naturally.

PAHLEEES not a sequel! That was a crappy flick.
I was thinking more like "The Birds"
