Not sure what it was worth, but "my time" wasn't it.

Two years of research by someone who had never touched photoshop before and only had a few hours every few days to think about it, perhaps.  Still quite pretty.

Two years for that? What a waste

duffblue: Two years for that? What a waste

A middling Photoshop Farker could have done more in two days.

I don't understand fashion models. The fashion that they wear is never worn ever again. You do not see crowds of people in cities wearing anything close to the garbage that the models wear. Also, this project took two years? What a waste of two years. The irony is the artist probably used photoshop to touch up the pictures. Could have just done it all in a couple days using photoshop for everything.

Those wimmens need some sammiches, and I don't care if they eat them upside down or right side up.

Some of those look more like a gallery of dead hooker pictures.

For some reason I get a kick out of the one with the dog. It's such a quintessentially fashion model thing it borders on parody.

Life in general goes smoother if you pretend everything is a parody of itself.

HA! Models can't even balance their cheque books.

FTA: Tremblay, who has been shooting for more than 20 years, thought up the concept and pitched it to Schon! magazine, who commissioned him for the photos.

So to answer your question, two years of billing.  And probably coke.

Now I feel dazed and ethereal. Best go have a sammich.

He explained how the mind-boggling images were created using computer trickery.

And lo! Another person has discovered  Photoshop!

I open Gimp from time to time and close it a few minutes later, putting off learning photo manipulation for another decade. But it'd take me a lot less than two years to learn how to make things be upside-down.

Was one of the goals to make them look utterly inhuman?  An upside down mannequin could have achieved the look with less fuss and more humanity.

/Fark the entire fashion industry in the ear-hole

Are they so hot, they'll turn my world upside down???

/hmm...at least it makes it easy to look up their skirt  (down?)

Weeners from the article:

"Complete and utter load of rubbish, both in concept and outcome. "

And with that, we're done here.

Half of those look like mannequins.

I feel that those images tell us nothing about struggle of Proletariat and Peasantry for better life and against the oppression

2014-01-26 03:38:17 PM
I'm pretty sure a couple of those could have been done with some hairspray, a low ceiling and upside-down wallpaper.

When we finally make free-roaming robots that look exactly like mannequins, the fashion industry will no longer have any need for real women.

I'm pretty sure all of those could have been done by setting a wig on the floor and Photoshopping in the girl.

"The project took two years to research and required 160 hours of retouching"

Gotta hand it to the guy for PR savvy; he halfasses a few photos and tells his assistant to do a couple weeks of Photoshopping, and gets it reported as a multi-year artistic project that someone gives a shiat about.

2014-01-27 03:04:11 AM
I'm pretty sure I'd rather see model doing actual handstands.

Why are all thos upside down 12 year old boys wearing women's clothing?
