Of course he thinks Putin is a better president; Putin is virulently anti-gay.

Came here to say this. Half the GOP has a mancrush on Putin over his virulently antigay stance and willingness to actually do and say what they want to.

Its nice to see Mitt is staying as classy as always.

Mitt who?

2014-01-25 07:48:30 PM
I always smile when I hear his name. I like to think about the moment it was realized in his campaign room that all the networks, including Fox, were calling the election for Obama. I try to imagine the dismay. The disbelief. The feeling of weakness. The panic. And finally the sinking feeling in the room that he was about to be thoroughly embarrassed because they were so damn wrong

But maybe that's just me

I have binders full of better presidential candidates than Mitt Romney.

Instead of getting mad about anything he says I just think about how he has the same amount of political power that Sarah Palin has right now and it makes me laugh.

To be fair, I don't think anyone expected Obama to actually assemble the Five Forbidden States.

I'm a dual citizenship Canadian/Russian and really do think very highly of Putin and for what he's done for Russia after Yeltsin.

Saying the president of a foreign entity is more competent than your own, especially on the biggest newspaper in America is really, really unpatriotic and wholly disrespectful.

i think the best explanation for his lack of a concession speech and Rove's melt down is this:

Sigh...  I wouldn't expect anyone to actually read the article, so here's what he really said.

Romney, who lost the presidential race to Obama, told NBC that the Russian leader "outperformed" the president "time and time again on the world stage

A statement that is not entirely untrue and a far cry from calling Putin a better president, regardless of how the NY Post wants to spin it.

California was never in play, unless that's supposed to be Florida. The only "safe" state that might turn into a real swing state in my lifetime is Texas (b/c Mexicans).

Of course. For all of their empty talk of freedom the right strongly desires the iron rule of a dictator. They find our American freedoms frightening and wish we could just submit to the Bible or Randian Superman or someone, even a Communist with a record of abuse, as long as they can take control of this scary world.

Indeed.

Your system isn't any better. You've also got Monarchy (1%) and they're the ones who control everything. Also, bribing and fatback are legal and fuel your over-bloated congress critter industry. How is that Democratic? Seems, monarchist to me since the dynasty with the most money and critters in their pocket are the ones who decide what laws get passed and who gets campaign contribution.

Russia and America are a lot closer than you think, you're just used to the media's "truth".

Yeah, I don't really get that, either.  California, Oregon, Michigan and Minnesota are all reasonably safe Blue States.  Ohio is a crucial swing state.  Oregon only has seven electoral votes, so it's not really a game-changer.

Pull on his left ear and he should dump out some debug data so we can try to find the problem.
