Eh, Glen is OK. I guarantee in the zombie apocalypse you would meet tons of dudes like Glen. Dudes like Rick would be instantly fragged, on the other hand.

Also there would be exactly 0 (zero) chicks as hot as Maggie.

That's comic book thinking. They've at least proven that they've got enough balls to stray away from the comics. And they're gonna have to, b/c the comics start to suck pretty bad after the Prison.

With the destruction of the prison as a sanctuary and the scattering of those living there, Carol can be brought back into the story. I'm guessing but I bet that Carol meets up with Tyreese who is all by himself and the two have to work together to survive.

A "Carol and Tyreese" team would be very interesting.  The person he wants to kill is the one he's teamed up with in order to survive.  Hopefully she could teach him how to toughen up and stop being a whiny ass pussy.

Still a fan. Not as rabid as the first season but I'm hanging in there. While I love the character Daryl, I never got the actor's sex appeal. Then I caught The Boondocks Saints on Netflix. Definitely way hotter without the apocalypse hairdo.

Why would a cop know how to use a tank, particularly one that had been sitting around for a month and was probably out of fuel?

Last episode excluded, the first half of season 4 was worse than all of season 2.  Character development is more interesting than pointless prison illness, tacked on and unresolved alcoholic subplots, and action sequences that were little more than video game missions.  Not to mention all the buildup with the governor just to kill him quickly.

AliceBToklasLives: I'm not reading the article because spoilers, but it's time to kill Rick. His story was done some time ago.

The Walking Dead is about Rick and Carl.

No one else.  Everyone else can die.  They will eventually kill Glen.  They will eventually kill Maggie.  Lil Asskicker's days are numbered (baby died at the prison anyway in the comics).  Daryl will eventually either die or be spun off.

What you won't see in the show - Rick will not lose a hand, Carl will not lose half his face.

Personally I hope they completely go off the page at this point and come up with something new.  None of the post-prison story lines are very interesting and Negan is just Governor Part Deux.

/Maggie is honestly too hot for the show.  Most of the female leads on the show have been very average, which is good, but Maggie?  Too hot for the apocalypse.  Fact is that the Gov would have killed every one in Rick's compound strictly for Maggie, and probably kept her locked in a room by herself for the rest of her life.  It is almost as ridiculous as getting me to believe Mila Kunis would have had any sort of freedom in that Book of Eli movie.

No, it wasn't.  Season 2 was a slow paced clusterfark that went nowhere and strung a useless plotline out far too long because they had nowhere to go with the story and no money to go there with.  In a perfect world, Season 2 would have killed Walking Dead, and it SHOULD have.

The Walking Dead is the best shiatty television show on television.  I love the show but actively hate it as well because it SHOULD be good, I watch it HOPING it will be good, and from time to time it is (Rick's assault on Woodbury was intense television) but mostly it just ends up sucking hard and leaving me wishing for shots of Maggie's ass.

You stupid assholes.  You can't spoil anything about this show -- the writers have already done that for us.

Just kidding.  AMC or whomever decided this mid season break bullshiat is a good idea -- that's who really ruined it.  I hate it, but I completely understand the shows that opt to skip a week when the regular airing falls on a major holiday.  However, breaking the momentum for a couple months, I'm not a fan.

Eh, not that she isn't hot and also out of my league, I prefer dark haired girls. And I met Lauren Cohen at a comic con (yes I'm a walking stereotype) and she's very cool, a geek and has a British accent.

Beth?

She looks like a girl next door, and would probably have been raped to death by Shane.

Because she is farking useless otherwise.

Beth is totally a "raped to death" character, were the apocalypse a real thing.

There's not just the holidays, but in January you have the NFL post season to contend with on Sunday nights. Since there is a big overlap between the fan base of The Walking Dead and football, it would take a big chunk out of the live audience if they didn't wait until February. It's no coincidence that the show returns exactly one week after the Super Bowl.

The Walking Dead really isn't a geek show anymore, since it pulled in 16 million viewers on the season premiere, with 10 million of them in the 18-49 demo, and chances are the bulk of them are young males that are also football fans (not to mention there are a lot of female football fans). It's basically a pop culture phenomenon that far outstrips the zombie geek fan base. From a ratings standpoint, it just makes sense to wait until after the Super Bowl  because they are fighting for the same demo.

They should just come clean at this point and classify every run as a new season, then write them as such.

Seasons on the BBC are like 12-13 episodes each, and I don't see much complaining about that.
