did he fall into a fountain and then everyone graduated from the school of hard knockers while louie louie started playing while rodney dangerfield started dancing?

I completely understand the frustration that can be felt dealing with school officials.

According to the charging affidavit, the principal said there was an incident in which Goodin's son arrived late to school in late October 31 and he was removed from the school campus by a Daytona Beach police officer.

That's some damn fine proofreading.

Though calling the cops because a kid is late does seem excessive.

If you watch the video, you'll see that arriving late was an unrelated detail and the kid was ejected from campus for assault, at which point the parent started hanging around the school and threatening the principal with battery.

The official is pretty unambiguously in the right on this one, looks like.

This is a typical article that you will find on fark.com. There is no evidence that this person actually punched the principal. Just hearsay. Yet everyone will pile on with comments about this guy before he's even proven guilty in court. You people are the problem with your snarky comments.

Hey Mr. Convenience store worker, next time you see something, say something.

The comments there are... special. Oh, wait -- "Forget it, Jake. It's Florida town." Never mind.

This has got to be the feel good story of the year.....a black father actually knows and then stands up for his own progeny.  Compare this guy to people like Evander Holyfield, Travis Henry, or Calvin Henry who can't even count all of their illegitimate little bastards on two hands.

Knew of a vice-principal who managed to get himself punched in the face by an angry parent. At school, in the office no less. Not a sucker punch either. He said something to the effect of, "your son's going to end up dead like your daughter at this rate". (she had died in a car crash of all things and wasn't driving)

No charges were pressed.

The principal was going by zero tolerance policies in using police to deal with tardiness. Sounds like he deserved a punch to the face.

I have zero tolerance for the reporter wearing a tie and that jacket.

This isn't his first run in with the law. Google Mr. Goodin's name and you will find 5 other mug shots (probably more).

I 'm just thinking about what gas station soul food tastes like.

They sure got a lot of mileage out of that mug shot, didn't they?  I was also very disturbed by the fact that the convenience store advertised they sold soul food and body oils.

Body oils are for frying up the soul food.

Hard knockers? Sounds like a personal problem to me.

Seriously though, this happened 20 mins down the road from me, last December.
