The NY Coed Outdoor Topless Pulp Fiction Appreciation Society or whatever their long-but-accurate name is wants their idea back.

Wait, wait... *reads article*... they can share.

For a small fee listeners get to relax, absorb the story and even join in with discussions mid-reading

Yeah - I'm sure that's why men go.  I can see the discussion if the redhead in the article is reading.  All their blood flow would have left the brain by page 5.

"So, um... discussion?"

"GUhhhh... Buhhhhh... Titties... Good..."

No, they're filled with attention whoring strippers who know how to get web news sites to give them free coverage.

Good thing. The last thing we need are groups of hot, smart, literate, naked women fighting each oth.....

....

what was I saying?

The whole naked thing is cool and all but the best thing about this is the ban on ebooks.

Imagine the paper cuts.

BunkoSquad: what was I saying?

You said you were going to follow @toplesspulp on twitter.

There has to be a reason for twitter, right?  I think that I've found it.

I'm good with that. Sometimes, if my partner is obliging, she'll let me go down on her while she's reading.

As the only male in a book club with 6 attractive females I love this idea.

Not That There Is Anything Wrong With That...

Pejorative or nay?

dj_spanmaster: What a NSFW book club link might look like.

I like that link very much.

There's a burlesque group that does this in Philly a couple times a year. I've never gone to see it, but I know one of the performers and she is smoking hot.

On one hand: Oh my

On the other: Is this really what it takes to get people to pick up a god damn book these days?

Ah, a fine literature thread! Appropriately for once, this post is a bookmark.

fta - "'The most common comment I hear from audience members is that after the first 10 minutes they forget we are naked and get lost in the story."

then put your farking clothes back on.

/the ban on e-readers is stupid.  books printed on dead trees are dying, as they should.  What, you prefer the "warmth" you get from an analog book?

//have a better digital library on my goddamn phone (and it is in fact something I can CALL a library) than anything I ever owned in meatspace, and I LOVE my books.

the same thing wrong with digital music.

not one goddamned thing.

/farking hipsters.  more so than the digitization of music is the importance of the digitization of the printed word.  i carry in my pocket a vast library of books that are instantly available, searchable and readable.  fark your dead trees.  there is no reason to try and pretend that paper books are superior in anyway to e-books.  none of the arguments other than battery life hold any weight at all.

See? The Taliban warned us about this.
