What a dumbass.  Yes, the DPS people are absolute parking nazis, and I wanted to punch the smug little asshole that worked the Ehringhaus lot during football season (this was before the giant parking complex across the street from Avery).  But I didn't, because that's how you get arrested.

And the DTH says it took place at the intersection of Hibbard and Blythe - that's in Odum Village, which is a quasi-apartment complex with a bunch of stand-alones and duplexes.  It's mainly university housing for married couples, PhD students, international grad students, and med school students that like to walk to the hospital from where they live.  I didn't think they put many athletes in there (they've got rooms on the top floor of Ehringhuas, Avery, and I think a whole floor in Carmichael).  So if he's got a unit in Odum and all this is over him parking in the wrong place, he can go fark himself.

If ever there was a school that deserved to get the SMU treatment, it is Chapel Hill. When one looks up the term "lack of institutional control" in the dictionary, it is written in powder blue.

It just gets worse and worse...

Although, to be fair, every vehicle is automatically issued 3 parking tickets upon entering the city limits of Chapel Hill.
