If no other actual populist liberal candidates step in, I have no problem with that

...senate president Warren....

Warren/Booker. I'd be campaigning in the streets.  Of course, the Tea Party would go insane.

Why Booker?
What has he accomplished or proposed that would make him a good candidate?

I'm the libby-est lib who ever libbed and I get no 'tingle up my leg' from him.
Charismatic, yes. Presidential, not yet.
Let's see if he can actually grow into the job.

As a MAsshole, I'd much rather have Liz stay in the Senate as the Senior Senator from the Commonwealth, honestly. I think she can do far more there than in the White House.

Having said that, if she runs, I'll enthusiastically vote for her... As I will when she's up for reelection.

Love having her as my Senator.

February 15th, 2017: President Franken announced today that Neil de Grasse Tyson will be appointed as White House Science Czar. Dr. Tyson will work closely with Executive agencies and departments to ensure accuracy in scientific information inputs and outputs. Vice President Warren, speaking in front of the under-construction Obama Presidential Library, applauded the appointment, saying that de Grasee Tyson "has lifted our eyes skyward to the wonders of astronomy...and now he will help us keep our feet firmly on the ground by making sure science policies have a rational, scientific basis."

Nooo!  Warren should not run for Veep (I doubt she could pull of a run for Prez).  She's doing too well as a Senator and losing her in that capacity just to sit around waiting for the Prez to die would be a massive waste.  She should stay Senator and kick other Senators in the ass all day long until they start working for the people.

Agreed... Though, it's certainly a Sisyphean task. Still, very happy it worked out the way it did with the GOP blocking her nomination leading to her handing Brown his own ass in the debates and sending him packing on election day.

Indeed. "Hey, dudes, did I tell you I was totes a SEAL and I kicked ass? Yeah, I kicked ass" Gomez was boring as hell. Of all three GOP candidates, I wanted the guy from Norfolk to win, that way even if Markey lost, I wouldn't be *totally* upset he lost
