iBette: brantgoose: When I was a child there was a band named Three Dog Night. It apparently got its name from a New Yorker Cartoon about a hostess showing a guest a room and saying that it was going to be a cold night so she put an extra dog on the bed. Or perhaps it came more directly from the idea that natives measured the cold by how many dogs you need to keep warm. This obviously works with cats also.Cat are superior to dogs in many ways, but it takes a lot more cats to cover a Queen-sized bed.Cats: Better taste. Less filling.Dogs: We have you covered.I remember Three Dog Night, and the story of how they were named. We used to sit on the school steps at 7th grade recess, spinning old 45's on the portable. Had more of TDN than others. Still rock out to them on a regular basis, MP3-style now. :)Gads, I'm old.
StranahansBarracuda: josmonkeys: quantum_jellyroll: josmonkeys:Available on Amazon. They go with this guy:I've never seen a Hassidic sock monkey before![reneau.smugmug.com image 720x960]I haven't had an order for one yet. This is supposed to be Tom Baker as Dr. Who. This pic doesn't show the hair very well. I did find a way for him to have tiny Jelly Babies (in baggie on his lap).I knew exactly who it was! I have a friend who would love this, do you have a link I can send him??

Fun Razor: I love my cat. I really do.She does a really good job of keeping the house varmint free. However, I wish she would 1) Stop playing with her food and 2) stop bringing me live foods to play with. I mean I really appreciate the thought and all. And it's very sweet. I also really wish she would rethink her plan to bring her live foods to me while I am sleeping in my bed. I really appreciate the gesture but mouse with cat spit sauce is not on my menu of favorite snacks. She thinks it makes the perfect midnite treat, especially since I didn't even have to get out of bed to enjoy play-kill-eat time. She then let it escape so she could hunt it all nite. In the bedroom. Of course. Because she wanted me to share in the fun. She is one thoughtful cat. She finally killed it about an hour ago and is now tenderizing it. Her method of tenderization is throwing the thing all over hell and gone. She is currently bouncing it off the ceiling and batting it like an All Star big leaguer. The look of pride on her face when it landed on my keyboard was priceless. It brought a tear to my eye (mostly because I was screaming like a little girl but that's beside the point). Like I said, I really love my cat.PS She is really mad at me now because I took it away from her. I'm sorry, I really can't like the sound of crunching mouse bones. Nor do I like playing mouse head ping pong or squish the carcass with your toes.

Invisible Oranges: Hai guyz. It's been a couple weeks since I've checked in. Mainly been in lurk mode. BF was offered a job the same week he put his resume online. His skillset is in demand (software engineer), but still. Here be he + Riku-cat. I think he was laughing at something he was listening to. Kanye West, maybe. *shrug*[img.fark.net image 693x520]We're big fans of metal here, but have recently been listening and getting into this electronic genre called witch house. Can be dreamy and/or creepy, depending on the song or artist.
