We will know that Sherman's interview style has jumped the shark once a political analyst chimes in with "This is an uncomfortable discussion that America has needed to have for a long time"

I bet he probably robbed a liquor store and did a driveby before the game.
Typical thug. he's from Compton, you know how it goes with them...

On the bright side, now Seattle fans gets to feel like Vikings fans did when Favre was at the helm and the most hated player in the NFL due to the media hype. So that's... something.

oh god.  First the robbery, then the drive by, then the near perfect GPA at the university, then the NFL draft, then the screaming at a camera on national TV.  If I've seen it once, I've seen it a million times.

That's the difference, if you're cool to Sherman, he's fine with you. He has tons of respect for who Fitz is and his abilities on the football field and he treats him that way. Even when Fitz knocks him on his ass.

Crabtree...not so much.

Sherman's rant was somewhat classless.

Sherman himself seems to be a pretty down to earth guy.

Neither of these things make him a 'thug.'

Top of the morning chaps. I say, does anyone here happen to recall where this young man matriculated? Is he of the Staffordshire Shermans? I'll be the first to admit I'm not up on my heraldry nomenclature but I seem to recall it debunked that his father was a minor earl of something or other.  I could be mistaken. I dare say it's possible he holds no titles or lands of note anywhere. Dear me, all this foofaraw over one of the low-born...

/the fourth quarter is the only one that counts...

I was impressed by Sherman's follow-up. It seems he got worked up and made an ass of himself, and now feels a little foolish but stands by his expressions of confidence and his feeling that he had been disrespected by someone who is too lazy to play as well as he does. I don't know that there is a racial angle to it, but I guess people on both sides like to put one there.
