tillerman35: That was infinitely more entertaining than the actual movie (I know... just my opinion, man).  I just saw it for the first time last weekend.  Maybe all the build-up from Fark love for it gave me unrealistic expectations, but ugh, that was an awful movie.  Were there funny parts?  I kept expecting to see funny parts.


To be honest I didn't "understand" the movie at first it took a couple of viewings for me. What is also great about TBL is that it is a parody of Chinatown. In Chinatown a bunch of different event which at first don't seem related are and in TBL a bunch of events that seem related aren't.  Once I figured that out the movie made sense to me and I could see the humor.

Don't worry, there's no shame in not having a sense of humor. Some people just aren't born with it.
