I didn't even make it all the way through the headline before giving up on the idea.

Maud Dib: Batman? Seriously?
One of these things is not like the other.

I'd classify Batman as SF. It's all futuristic weapons and toys.

that was . . . weird.

Not just in its concept, but a surprising Density of Star Trek, Dune, and  . . . Battle Beyond the Stars?

a little Forbidden Planet, Flash Gordon, Silent Running and a number or stuff I couldn't catch (Solarian?).  But . . . weird choices man.

\\ not that I mind Battle Beyond the Stars
\ good actors, bad effects.

Nice! Too much Flash Gordon on the second one, and not enough Wilma Deering...but enjoyable. This would have been fun in college.

The music reminds me of Robert Miles's Dreamland.

Goddamn, I forgot how many boners the princess from the cheesy '80s "Flash Gordon" gave me. Holy crap she was off-the-charts hot.

I like how the scenes were carefully chosen and arranged to develop along with the music.
