That's an easy one. Is he your mayor?

Yes -> Hate
No -> Love

The man is comedic gold, provided you don't live in Toronto and aren't affected by his antics.

I live in Ford Nation.  You'd be surprised how many otherwise educated and intelligent people bought his bullshiat and think he's actually doing a good job, or how many people say things like "Well I don't approve of his lifestyle, but I'll vote for him in a heartbeat over Olivia Chow".

I''m more saddened than surprised that some peoples' voting strategy consists primarily of "sticking it to the libs".

I would be surprised if people could even list five voting decisions that Chow has made that would lead them to believe that Ford would be more fiscally responsible than her.

There's that, and Ford campaigns based on the "tell people what they want to hear" strategy. And they either believe that yes, you can cut taxes and magically maintain all the same level or service, or they pretend to believe that but rely on the fact that they live in the suburbs and all his cuts are going to be to those nasty city dweller moochers, not to themselves.

Politicians go pretty far appealing to delusion or selfishness.

Wait.What? There are taxes in Canada? They tell us here in the US that we get affordable health care for no taxes. You must be confused.
