Dammit, we thought we plugged that hole at Environment Canada that has been stealing all our weather and climate data.

But somehow, despite all the child-proofing, President Sweatervest keeps getting back in and destroying all evidence of Canada's changing climate.

Well, they used to say that the weather keeps Canada out of the big time, so it's perfectly logical that the Prime Minister would destroy our archives and then our computer data, and finally conclude by making talking about the weather an act of terrorism. No weather, no obstacle to a handful of rich Tories getting richer. After all, ever since he got his Economics degree he's been shilling for tax cuts for the super-rich.

Everybody in Canada wants to do something about the weather, but now we're not allowed to talk about it. Poor Oscar Wilde. Poor Canada, as Our Lady of Fatima put it.

It's so cold we complain about the cold where Americans can hear.

/-33 this morning.  I can handle down to about -20 or -25 without too much fuss

Is that Celsius or Fahrenheit? Not that it matters terribly much in that range near -40.

Removal of historical environment data means they can sell a 'flooded once in 5 year' public-land swamp to private industry and please ignore all that 'life' that exists for only 2 years of that 5.

/Please ignore all that China smog f*cking up the West Coast's weather.
//Canadian Scientists setting up book repositories and computer scientific-data storage in their homes.

Here we see the Sinclair family watching as PM Stephen Harper industries wipes out a swamp, resulting in the death of Canadian Dinosaurs.

I know how cold it is by estimating the nap on the cardigan of our Fearless Leader, "Big Sweater".

Apparently, it's dropping to "pussy" today.

I used to live in this tiny tourist town in Montana, a place that regularly got the daily "lowest temperature in the lower 48" prize. Well, they have a thriving winter tourist trade (snowmobiles, cough, hack) so the Chamber of Commerce pressured somebody somewhere to stop putting their name on the list. I don't know if it worked, but I know that for several years I didn't see the name of that town when I looked at the extreme temperatures.

What a non-story. There are other places you can get the weather.
