Did the obvious tag not want to cover this?

Now that's how you do it.  "Citizen, we know who you are, we know where you are, and we know what you are doing.  Stop the 'protest' now, we will be by to arrest you later."  Put the whiners in their place and let them know who is in charge.

Clever tactic, you have to give them that!

that is standard operational procedure outside of the eu and us.  i was in peru and had some family members go off about how america was evil.  i went off on them to their surprise.

I felt a mass disturbance in the Force, as if millions of ringtones suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly muted.

A friend of mine is deciding whether to head back to Ukraine and help his fellow countrymen. He has a good life in New York. Married with two kids and lives in the East Village. He's also 44, overweight and smokes like a chimney. I don't know how much help he'll be, but I do feel for him.

This is simply oppression at its finest, as psychologically people become a part of a group involuntarily when enough people gather about an issue - this is well documented.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deindividuation

Lavrov blaming the US and the EU was expected. Good to see he covered that.

What are the odds of Ukraine splitting into two separate countries? Just floating the thought.

Looks like the gave him double secret probation.

Not without a bloody civil war. Neither side wants independence, yet, and neither side would be willing to give up the resource/land of the other.

Isn't Mila Kunis Ukrainian too?  I bet she could help too.  And she probably looks sexy throwing molotov cocktails.

I can't believe the NYTimes reported this.  Someone may get fired over there.

They don't seem too concerned the Ukraine has banned public assembly and public protest.  The Times seems more interested in describing how many ski masks the protesters are wearing and how many gasoline bombs they were throwing.
