I wonder if the mentally-challenged operatives in school administrations/boards sit around in their meetings and table ideas with the express purpose of looking stupid?

co2van: I've watched some cam girls. I would imagine cam dudes are about the same. It's a job, some of them put on a good performance, some of them are not meant to be able to do that type of job. If you look at it like that, understanding that this person is just trying to make some money, generally tips or subscription. I just don't have a problem with it as long as the actor is legal age. "Actor" is kind of the key word here. The person perfoming these sexual acts is somebody who is performing a service for another who is interested in paying for a brief glimpse at their fantasy, whatevere it is. it's all good, No harm done, unfortunately there can be a stigma associated with that baser instinct.
Here's a little fact, everybody masturbates. Sometimes when you masturbate, you want to have a little extra stimulation., thus internet porn is something like a couple billion dollar enterprise.

I think he would have been better off doing cam stuff as a lot of the cam sites let performers block people from their own country/state/province/etc.

CSB: One of my friends used to date a camgirl. She bought a house herself (in Calgary no less). She redecorated the room she did the camshows in with the most beat-up looking used furniture she could find... and it worked. Guys would throw tokens at her so she could get better furniture etc. She'd wear worn-out clothes and people would give her tokens to "get some new clothes" etc. Sometimes she'd do her makeup, make herself cry (onions, etc) then do a show with her makeup all farked up asking for money because she needed it bad for food/rent etc. So guys were throwing crazy tokens to help this "poor girl" get food when she was making more than most of them.

Not much different from some beggars.  Saw one guy went through the trouble of using a wheel chair and his family for the con.  I know he was a fraud because he had a nice car sitting around the corner out of sight.  Wait around long enough and follow them, some beggars have nicer homes than I.  The professional beggars are usually welfare queens as well.

Halstread: Although not quite apples to apples, I don't know if I would want my 16 year old daughter going to school with Peter North.  Somehow I think the birds and the bees talk would be a bit more difficult to explain.  I can see where parents and politics might have forced the administrations hand.  I don't know where I stand on this one though.

Your 16 year old should already know all there is to know about the birds and the bees and how to protect herself from bee stings.

Animatronik: Shakespeare's Sister: The Evil Home Brewer: thermo: apparently, from the comments on the article page, he's going gay porn.... and that probably freaks everyone out. Except his mom, who is quite proud.

Gay porn apparently pays more money..... Yet it tends to really piss off gay porn actors (if the person is straight).

Kudos to him for doing whatever is necessary to pay the bills!

/Me <----- College Professor who respects students who do whatever they can to meet stupidly high bills for their education

I, too, teach at the college level. The prices charged for tuition and books are obscene! None of my students work in the pron industry (that I know of), but they do have crap jobs which (mostly) pay the bills.

This student is 18 and is engaging in a legal profession outside of school. Someone else brought this in and showed it around. The administrators hate pron and have to find a reason to kick him out. They are mad that he will make more in a month than they will in a year. Hell. . .he makes more in a month than I do in a year.

/Community College in middle Tennessee

Actually, it may not be legal. In many jurisdictions it's considered prostitution.

Also, his mom is an idiot. Thanks to this, he'll probably have more diseases than income 20 years from now.
Parents should not let kids do things that will damage their future.

The making of porn, in some areas, could be illegal and considered prostitution. However, it is not stated in the article that this is a concern in the area in which he lives. If it were considered such, then he would be in jail for engaging in this.

Also, his mom has no control over what he does. He is 18, an adult, and responsible for his actions. What is she to do? Diseases and damage to his body and future is on him, not her.

Just because you do not like it or approve of it does not negate its legal status.

Ridiculous.  Real economists never have skin in the game.

Dear Florida: You guys know you're Florida, right? Barely legal gay porn is the least scandalous thing your students could be doing.

Pretty tacky and unnecessary that the reporters decided to share the website for which he posed/worked.

That being said...HAWTT.

Why? That's good advertising. Porn websites don't cringe with shame every time someone discovers the horrible secret of their existence. I'm guessing if you asked this guy whether he wanted ten thousand more hits to his videos today, he'd say yes.

Normally that's exactly the kind of detail that reporters would omit for no good reason, which would annoy the porn sites.

Except now that I'm looking I can't find it. Maybe you meant "decided not to share" in which case never mind.

Sean Cody. They mention the website on the video clip of the newscast.
