My buddy who works for a DPW did this with shovel. It was involuntary as when the truck hit him, it spun him around and the shovel went flying. It just worked out that it hit the truck that hit him.

The witness may have intended to make the vehicle immediately identifiable to law enforcement (in the case the driver of the truck chose to flee the scene)

Even in Oklahoma it is a little strange.  10 years ago you never saw horses on the city street (cause its a city, kinda makes sense to me) but I have noticed (still rare) the occasional person riding a horse deep in the city limits lately.  They have all been hispanic people.  I dont know if its a cultural thing or what, but if it is, they need to get the damn horses out of the cities.

C) throw a sledgehammer through the back window of the truck

Makes the truck easier for the cops to ID.

No kidding.  It's not 1900 anymore, and horses, like bicycles, should not be on the streets.

The 4300 block of N Lewis, isn't exactly in the city.  It's semi rural, plus it's North Tulsa, which is where 90% of violent crimes in Tulsa occur.
