Still trying to figure out what Kaep was thinking, if indeed he was thinking at all, trying to force it in there on that play.

You know, I'm torn. Foremost, I'm chuckling heartily over the seemed amazed that we received an interview that wasn't a trope of cliches. That said, is magnanimity any entirely lost art? Is the burden of victory so heavy that you must immediately call out your opponent? As Mr. Sherman himself iterated in the destruction of Mr. Bayless, which was glorious, let the tape speak for itself.

What you don't see is that all week on sports radio Crabtree talked all kinds of shiat about Richard Sherman then at the end of the game Sherman tried to shake Crabtree's hand and Crabtree punched him in the face

So I realize now the above is a mess of errors. Yep, I've had a few (twelve). Good night, Seahawks. Congrats. Still pulling for the AFC, as I was once I learned it was an all NFC West showdown.

Considering it was the 4th quarter where he fell apart (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on the two fumbles as the first they recovered and the second came from behind), I think he was starting to get a little ahead of himself. Not cocky or anything, just not being quite as cautious as he should have been.

Sherman did slap Crabtree's ass before offering his hand, which was kinda funny/douchey depending on who you were rooting for.

The WWE promo-style rant was pretty great at the end, though.

Hes not being criticized because he is black, he is being MOCKED (there is a difference) because he acted like an out of control professional wrestler.

Richard Sherman talks a lot of shiat because it makes people mad.

Dear God.  Imagine if Manning had done an interview like that calling out Brady.  The internet would have asplode.

I can't stand Sherman but I thought that was pretty awesome.  All sports need way more professional wrestling style screamviews.  Beats the crap out of clichegenerator2000.

Well, if that pass drops into Crabtree's hands, he is the brilliant engineer of a game winning drive under. High risk, high reward.

Yeah, but people have grown accustomed to "Well, we're all winners and I just wish everyone on the field could have a trophy after tonight". Hell, people ren't just accustomed to it, they're downright offended when someone doesn't say that, and actually brings some genuine emotion into an interview,.

I thought the vibe of this thread was "out of control pro wrassler," but maybe if I read through all of these comments a few more times I'll see the racism.  Of course, maybe you could show me 3 other peoples tweets to convince me there is a giant race-war on the verge over this.  I mean, there's very nearly statistically zero percent of the total tweets about that game in your link, so obviously everyone hates black people.  Geez.  There must be 25 tweets there.  I went through my fb and didn't see a single racist remark, but I may just be sheltered, what with all the 49ers fans I know having a reason to be up in arms over it and the worst I saw was "idiot."  That name reminds me of someone I quoted just recently...

Seriously, if there were 15,000 tweets that were blatantly racist I'd be surprised.  I'm not researching this silly garbage, so feel free to do that yourself, but I will (metaphorically) eat a gym sock if you're able to dig up any sort of major racist trend resulting from this.  Until you pointed it out, I hadn't seen a single racist remark about it, and I've been surfing the web for 5 hours.  Of course, I stay away from sensationalist bullshiat like Deadspin, and I don't associate myself with racists, so maybe that's why.

I liked this one -
Someone needs to introduce Richard Sherman to George Zimmerman.

Sherman is a loud mouthed childish dick. Which makes him a bit of a hero in one segment of the Fark sports tab population.
