I bet none of the 750 birds were this one. I took this pic in the middle of nowhere in Suriname. I've no idea what the hell it is. It looks like a cross between a flamingo and a chicken.

I care. That's some folks dream of a lifetime. But the man is right; watching birds in your own backyard is rewarding, too. And I don't care about a bird count.just the idea of travel and search and meeting people...and seeing great birds in their habitat. But you'd rather spend you days telling people what women you would "hit" on some computer web site. As if. So there.
