oh, I just wanted to say, Shazam is an awesome app for identifying songs you're listening to.   I highly recommend it.  It's great for when you're in the car and don't know a song, because it remembers the songs you've looked up.

Through the right EQ, he can be.  Diamond just has more timbre in his voice.  He and Dylan are in the same register.  I don't listen to much in the way of Dylan either, and I grew to like his early stuff where his voice was a rich baritone a la 'Lay Lady Lay'.
