Hate to break it to you guys, but statistically speaking, an R-squared of 0.20 is not all that much better than purely random data. In other words, this data IS pretty close to having been pulled out of someone's butt. Although, in their defense, most economic data was pulled from that source anyways,...

/for you non-stats geeks out there, that means only 20% of the difference is likely due to wealth factors. The 80% is due to randomness.
