You can also directly download the form that you need to fill out in order to complete your taxes instead of wasting money on Turbo Tax or similar crap.

Because it was never available to John Q. Public to just sign in and download, that's why.

/lest anyone think I'm against this...I'm not. Just playing devil's advocate. This has been inevitable since taxpayers have been able to file electronic returns with the IRS
