What he does looks great.

I would like to see what he could do in Illustrator.

This is kinda not really "using" excel for art, in that he is using the graphics capabilities of the program itself, which is like using any other "art" software really.   I was more expecting someone making art by making all of the cells super small and coloring them in individually.

At least he's not using VBA for macros. That would be going too far.

I have used PowerPoint to make animation by reducing the time between slides as far as it would go. The files are quite large.
