It was a PR stunt to take some NY press away from the Super Bowl Champion Giants that ended up completely screwing the Jets.

Well, of course Mr. "Tannenbaum" would have a problem with Tebus Christ. All he does is win.

I wonder what he thinks about the other five or six quarterbacks the Jets had laying around.

Trading for Tim Tebow was a mistake, former Jets GM Tannenbaum says

It's amazing how much of a difference a 3-letter word can make sometimes...

Green light #2!

Which is funny...the Jets wear green, and they play like #2!

That's basically it.  If you read Collision Low Crossers, the entire Jets coaching staff was completely nonplussed by Sanchez.  They liked him as a person, but they just couldn't figure out why he struggled.  On paper and in meetings, he had the brains and intelligence, but all of that would disappear on the kickoff.  The reason they brought in Tebow was to pressure Sanchez to do better and also to get the ticket sales.  It was mostly a business decision; it backfired horribly, to say the least.

\really fascinating book

I would have been a really crazy week right now if Tebow was still on the Patriots. It wouldn't have been Brady vs Manning, but Tebow vs the Broncos.

Captain Steroid:

The thing is the Butt Fumble took some of the spotlight off the Tebus fail.

Hey, Tannenbaum - you think you might have spent too much time worrying about that trade and way too little time fixing that dumpster fire of offensive skill positions?  No QB was going to produce given the shiatshow of WRs and backs you left the team with.

Seriously.  The jets provided a lot of "who are these farking guys" moments.

On a side note Never Ever GIS who are these farking guys.
