Nah, the Botfly larvae that have burrowed into your flesh will kill the virus.

I just got back from Sri Lanka and I hoped I wouldn't get dengue (or malaria.) Dengue and dengue hemorrhagic fever are nothing to mess with. I hate mosquitoes.

Best part about Dengue are that there are 4 different serotypes.

And unlike, say, Influenza, getting it the second time the infection is worsened because you already had it once

When I lived on St. Thomas, I knew someone who almost died from hemorrhagic dengue. Hope that isn't around anymore.

Dengue is as popular as ever now that everyone's avoiding fogging to protect the environment.

/Also cause they have no money for foggers.
/After Hess closed, its all gone to pot.

We would like to advise you of recent activity of Zika fever in the French Polynesian islands including Tahiti, Moorea, Raiatea, Bora Bora, Huahine, and Rangiroa. This disease is transmitted through mosquito bites, and symptoms typically include fever, headache, red eyes, rash, muscle aches, and joint pains. The illness is usually mid and lasts 4-7 days. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a travel alert advising travelers to Practice Enhanced Precautions. To help prevent mosquito bites, cover exposed skin (by wearing long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and hats), and use insect repellent (if using sunscreen, apply sunscreen first and insect repellent second). There are no plans to change your itinerary. We are monitoring this situation and will notify you if any changes are necessary. Thank you for your attention to this notification, and we look forward to welcoming you aboard.
