The Stealth Hippopotamus: I'm going to miss him. Didn't see eye to eye on everything ( who would?) but I always trusted his integrity.
Peter von Nostrand: C) sad to see he's leaving because he'll most likely be replaced by an even bigger idiot
Nadie_AZ: I might not agree with anything he stands for, but I hate seeing someone go down to cancer. Good luck to the Senator.
BitwiseShift: Coburn's decision could set off a major scramble among Republicans hoping to replace him. U.S. Reps. Tom Cole, R-Moore; James Lankford, R-Oklahoma City; and Jim Bridenstine, R-Tulsa, will likely consider the race, along with Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt. What about the hopefuls from Ontario, BC, Manitoba, Alberta?

Serious Black: The rumors I've heard are that James Lankford and Tom Cole are gunning for the open seat. Lankford would be as bad as Cruz is. No idea about Cole though.
Captain Dan: Coburn stood out amongst conservative legislators for his ability to work together with Democrats.
Bill the unknowing: Coburn was at least half sane, and wasn't a douche about the President. Good luck to him. Of course Inhofe stays, because that's just the way these things have gone. Coburn will be probably be eplaced by a farking nut job like Inhofe.
