Ah, the rare and elusive USEFUL Fark headline.

Getting and staying drunk helps you forget you're trapped on a floating petri dish with 4 thousand other drunks.

Missing from article: How long you have to spend waiting in long lines or at crowded bars while being ignored by the overworked bartenders.

What shall we do with a drunken tourist, What shall we do with a drunken tourist, What shall we do with a drunken tourist...when he won't pay his bill...

How about instead the easiest lines to sneak your own booze on

Nothing on the Disney cruises.

I will be stuck on one of those this year.

Peter von Nostrand: How about instead the easiest lines to sneak your own booze on

This would indeed be helpful knowledge.

Mr. Winston and I aren't big drinkers, though.  We usually just have one or maybe two a day if we're not off boat so the 'unlimited drinks' option really only works for us a deal sweetener.

/would be fun to sneak a little Grey Goose onboard to mix with the orange juice, though
//and whiskey, just 'cause

Nor is there anything on Royal Caribbean, which is kind of surprising.

This pretty much clinches me never going on a cruise.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE

Best ship size: 40 to 45 foot cat
Best port of call: anywhere within a half day's sail of your last anchorage
Facilities on board: propane grill, fridge, bunk, head, shower
Drink menu: whatever you picked up in port!

Bliss.

Which cruiseline gives me the best chance of getting a disease and having to place bags of my shiat outside my cabin door?

Beer Package (26 brands, $11.95 pp/day).

Am I reading that right, $11.95 for all you can drink beer? I can easily drink 12 bucks worth of beer in a couple hours, then the rest of the day is free.

I don't see the Blues Cruise listed.  I must assume they only serve cheap bourbon.

Several friends of my friends are blues performers on the cruise that leaves port out of Florida tomorrow.  I've been invited along several times (and it would be relatively cheap since I would get a discount), but I can never find the time.

26 brands of beer and my luck it would all be Corona.

And while I love boats, cruise ships are more people barges than boats.
