A worthy greenlight.

/Mine was "Now here's a guy who isn't breathing any more"
//Subby's was better.

Trifecta in play?

Wow, an actual celebrity death trifecta in play.  Two of the best supporting roles in 60s/70s TV.  If Marian Ross kicks the bucket today I'm gonna get worried.

If Fish completes the trifecta, my advice to all the admins would be to green it and walk away from your keyboards. Just leave it and go to Vegas. It's what we call in the business, a closer.

Thinking so. The usual suspects are waxing poetic about the death penalty on the main page.

That day will be (and I know this is overused) EPIC. It will make the Leslie Nielsen death thread look like a slow news day.

Where are we on the current trifecta?  The last celebrity I heard of before today's double-hitter was James Avery, aka Uncle Phil/The Shredder.  Is this the end of one, or #2 on a new one?

Both Dave Madden (Partridge Family) and Russell Johnson (the Professor from Gilligan's Island) died today. There's a thread for him on the Entertainment tab as well.

Ruth Duccini, the last female Munchkin also passed away today, but there hasn't been a greenlit thread for her yet.

fusillade762: Who will live longer: Abe Vigoda or Cher? Taking bets...

About 4 yrs ago, I was visiting my mom, who was in her 80's and in failing health (That point in time being a very low point and the reason for my visit as she had been in and out of the hospital for a month).  A story came on the news about Amy Winehouse. My mom, who claimed otherwise but loved all the "star" gossip in her old age, wasn't quite sure who she was, so I kind of explained to her Winehouse's claim to fame.

Sure enough, when Winehouse died a few months later, Mom calls me up and says - "So, I bet you never guessed I would outlive that Winehouse girl now did you?"  She had a warped sense of humor and it didn't skip a generation.
