Wall St: We blew up the economy and here is the bill.
Washington: OK, we will pay it just this one time, but we win OK?
Wall St: Shut up and pay the bill.

Yakk:

Before reforms

Wall St: We blew up the economy and here is the bill.
Washington: OK, we will pay it just this one time, but we win OK?
Wall St: Shut up and pay the bill.

After reforms
Wall St: We blew up the economy and here is the bill.
Washington: OK, we will pay it just this one time, but we win OK?
Wall St: Shut up and pay the bill, please.

Congratulations, regulators (I'm looking at you, Sen. Warren), you transformed Goldman Sachs from a financial behemoth that took massive risks in order to generate billions in profits, into a financial behemoth that need merely cash in on its deep ties to government in order to generate even more billions in profits.

Winning!

Really gotta ask: by what logic do you attribute this "transformation" to Sen. Warren?

A surprising question in this forum.  Are you contending that she didn't have anything to do with the increased regulation of the financial sector over the past decade or two?

You know what, if you want change you need to get mad! Start a riot, flip over a few cars, blow some stuff up. Get the bums in Congress and Wall Street good and scared.
