Dear CNN President,Two words:
lennavan: Zucker also boasted that CNN has surpassed MSNBC when asked how his network's ratings.Dear Jeff Zucker,It is the constant striving for the best ratings, rather than content that has ruined news and journalism, you dick.Warm wishes,~Lenny
Nemo's Brother: Didn't Zucker ruin NBC before fleeing?
Gosling: t season, contestants will report on stories to a panel consisting of Newt Gingrich, Nancy Grace, Piers Morgan and Miley Cyrus with their chairs turned around. The twist is, nobody's told the contestants that there isn't a second round to this and the chairs don't swivel. They all just get snarked at and leave disappointed.
Nina_Hartley's_Ass: DROxINxTHExWIND: primetimeThey're not in primetime. Well, Ed used to be.Hayes and Maddow are usually very good. O'Donnell can be amusing.
Boxcutta: Why in the world would anyone think Al Sharpton is a credible pundit?
Boxcutta: OTOH, Why in the world would anyone think Al Sharpton is a credible pundit?
EyeballKid: A parable about trying to get a splinter out of somebody's eye while you've spent a month following a cruise ship with a case of the runs comes to mind.
Jmb5346: I vote for an Al Sharpton v. Piers Morgan cage match.
Moonfisher: What's that, CNN? You have higher ratings? So does farking Honey Boo-Boo. MSNBC has gotten annoying in recent years as they inexplicably strive to be the liberal comeback to Fox's derpstorm, but I still enjoy occasional Maddow.
TheBeastOfYuccaFlats: Maddow, Hayes, O'Donnell and Erza Klein (even though he doesn't have a show, I don't think, he should).Any one of those folks is individually possessing of more journalistic prowess and integrity than every on-air personality on CNN.
Vodka Zombie: Dear CNN President,Two words:Nancy GraceG'bye
DROxINxTHExWIND: The Al Sharpton show and the Ed show are absolutely horrible television. HORRIBLE.Hey MSNBC, you can't spend a decade mocking Fox News for being biased and then put these two clowns into primetime news slots so that they can conduct polls like, "Do you think Mitt Ronmey cares about the rich or the poor? Text 'rich' to 888-EdShow to cast your vote".
OnlyM3: godparticle knows it isn't over them hiring bigots. Leftists love to support them[cdn.breitbart.com image 475x356][cdn.phillymag.com image 850x488]Isn't that right.[timesonline.typepad.com image 800x628]
coeyagi: (Types in "FoxNews Personalities" into GIS)My God... it's full of bigots!

Pangea: Agreed on this. Chris Matthews has great guests on all the time too. If only he could stop himself from constantly interrupting them, the show would be quite watchable.
Mnemia: Pangea: Agreed on this. Chris Matthews has great guests on all the time too. If only he could stop himself from constantly interrupting them, the show would be quite watchable.Matthews is an idiot, even though I agree with some of his viewpoints. I don't get the feeling he's arrived at any of his (mild, centrist) liberalism via reason or intelligence. He strongly suffers from being "starstruck" by most of the politicians he talks to, and I feel like he takes a "viewpoint" just so that he has a reason to talk to the political celebrities he worships.Unlike Matthews, I don't support politicians because I like them as people, but because I support the policies they are trying to push. I could give two shiats about what a politician looks like, how good the speeches he gives are, or what kind of clothing he wears, as long as he or she is smart, principled, and makes good public policy.
