Fear the Clam: verbaltoxin: Bow before your new idol.

Mrs Clam was curious about that stuff so I bought a jar. It tastes like off-brand cookies and failure.

Then Mr. Clam looked over at Mrs. Clam and said, "Lookit this zinger I posted to Fark!" She sighed with deep resignation, and said, "That's nice, dear."

Primitive Screwhead: For RI Farkers:
The Nutella sold at Job Lot is made in Poland.
Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me but I swear it's better than the Canadian version we get at "regular" stores.

If your mind is playing tricks on you, you aren't alone.  One of the best/worst things about being overseas was the chocolate.  West b/c OMGTASTESSOMUCHBETTER, worst b/c OMGSOHARDNOTTOGETFATNOW

Day_Old_Dutchie: bdub77: This just seems disgusting to me. I don't even spread Nutella very often, but it's not even a question I'd pick Nutella over Hershey's any day.

Does Hershey's actually make real chocolate anymore?  Maybe they should spend more time making real chocolate and not that nasty mockolate that isn't even fit to be sandwiched into a S'more anymore.

They moved much of their production to Mexico because of cheap labor (and probably lax health and safety rules, just like any other corporation that cares more about its stockholders than its customers)

Great move. Make your food product in the land of Montezuma's Revenge.

Hershey squirts.

Ew.

As a European, I don't understand the popularity of Hershey's chocolate. It tastes really cheap and nasty, less like chocolate and more like chocolate "flavouring" cut with sugar and some kind of milk byproduct. Compared to other brands like Lindt, Milka, Ritter, Galaxy, Cadburys etc. it's simply foul. I'm not sure why I'd want a spreadable version.

Marcus Aurelius: Nutella is hazelnuts that haven't spoiled due to oxidation yet because they're covered in chocolate, which is an excellent anti-oxidant*.

PALM OIL.

FTFY.

TuteTibiImperes: I've never had Nutella, maybe I should buy some.  And some Marmite, I've never had that either.

Both are great on buttered toast, but spread the Marmite much MUCH thinner than the Nutella.

Why would I buy imitation Nutella when I can get real Nutella? This seems pointless.
