LMFAO! Thank you subby! I needed a solid laugh today!

One thing I would have added:

"Special guest star: Peter Capaldi"...or maybe that would have been TOO much of a spoiler...

This  Buffy-style intro is better, but maybe that's just because I didn't like Friends.

I enjoyed both of the mashups.
Dr. Who was must see TV when I lived in the remote hills of West Virginia, long long ago.

So if this video goes viral does that mean the guys in the Rembrandts get a half dollar or so in royalties?  Cause one of them is standing in line at Starbucks and wonders if he could afford to upgrade from grande to venti.

About as big as the gap between Courtney Cox's stringy old thighs?

I thought "The One About Gallifrey" was a pretty decent episode, myself.

Well Moffat wrote Coupling, which is slightly like Friends but way better, so there is a slight potential for crossover.

/If you haven't seen Coupling, watch it.
//It's like Friends, in that it's about three guys and three girls and their hookups.
///But it's almost all about the sex. We don't even know what the main character does for a living.

Out of all the microscopes WIki could have used as an example, they use a 20 y/o one with a left handed stage mechanism.

It's my understanding that Friends was basically plagiarized from Coupling.

Coupling is one of very few shows that was close to making me cry from laughing so hard.  Much like Moffat's Who run it went on a tinge too long.

Well, to be fair no one knew what Chandler Bing did for a living either.

Jeff running into the bar wearing a gimp mask was one of my highlights.

/Moff did some really cool things with flashbacks, an episode showing the same ten minutes three times from a different POV, a whole episode in split screen, a whole episode about a single phone call and so on.

I heard that friends was the "US version" of coupling. I wonder if Moffat was n any of the US credits.

Considering Friends carried between 22-32million viewers per week who are now in their 40-60s and Dr Who has about 2.4million.., likely a good chunk.

Since Who has been around forever, much of its demographic is graying.

I didn't think the 50th anniversary ep was that special.  Very disappointed that they didn't use some of that film magic to involve all the previous Doctors other than a couple quick glances.

Unless Moffat used Obama's time machine that is unlikely since Friends premiered six years before Coupling.

I started watching friends in 2000 because a girl I had a crush on watched it.
I started watching Dr. Who in 2011 because a girl I had a crush on watched it.

So... it's the section of guys who are complete toadies.
