My cat's tail gets puffy whenever she sees a ghost. It's useful, actually.

You say as if an excited, confident cat won't go for the eyes.

WTF is that cat doing up on the counter!??

Oh, hi guys, I just shiat and pissed in the box and stomped around covering it up with litter. Let me walk around on the counter while you're preparing food, okay?

C. The cat tries to open the door from the wrong side while closed by pulling with their paw under the door, making a huge racket, and meowing the entire time. Then when you open the door to leave the room, they rush in, only to rush out once they realize you've left the room.

A common behaviour of my tabby is that he walks up to me and bumps his tail against my leg and waits for me to pet him

My cat does the 'vibrating' tail thing, but it's only at the end. I've always wondered if it meant something.

Twitching, vibrating...same thing, right?

Kitty is really happy to see you.

Call me when ANY cat speaks using intelligible words in the English language audible enough for anyone to hear and repeat said process on cue to confirm what you assume to be true.

Mine walk on the counters though not very often. I always clean the counters before I prepare food and I never place any food directly on the counters.

Well that story told me a whole lot of what I already knew.

When cats hold their tails straight in the air and shake them rapidly, this typically means they're excited or are anticipating something good.

and what they do before they spray/scent mark

I remember some hot cat tail action.

A cat that hangs out with me was sitting on the top of the steps. A young female cat came up the steps and started dancing "Happy Birthday Mister President" in front of him. She was sashaying back and forth and rubbing up against him. His tail started stiffly swishing back and forth low to the ground. Then, as if on cue, both their tails went high up in the air and off they went.

It's like a Disney movie watching those two some times.

My cat has a crooked nub for a tail. Half manx, half alley cat. The nub just goes up and down.

If you hold the end of the tail and pet it back to the cat, they freak out.  Mine will dance around like it is the devil and looks around and says, "What the fark!"

I need a new hobby.

Nothing you can do about it.  Cats feel they own your house.

I found him via Fark. That one, Printers are from Hell, and How a Web Design goes to Hell are three of the best. He gets his share of hate on here, though.

Thanks for the month... I think.

I thought My Dog The Paradox is better.  I liked the cat one too though.

I have a manx/calico. Never even notice her tail move, which makes her a bit unpredictable.

If only that asshole-woman who kicked snow on her cat had known half of this.
