future machines doing more than play games.

Cloud Computing is the future of gameplay.

Wow I hope the dying desktop pc market is replaced by some kind of device industry that allows us to access the cloud. Maybe a device that sits on a table or an entertainment center. They'll have to be able to process data, so they'll definitely have a processor.. and storage on some kind of local drive would significantly speed up gameplay (incredibly important for enjoyment) and reduce lag for the people who don't have the greatest connections (and now thanks to the questionable status of net neutrality, lower bandwidth usage). This brand new frontier of devices that totally aren't personal computers is going to be great...
