FTFA:

Amin Massoudi, the mayor's spokesman, confirmed Monday that the show is still going to make its debut.
"There is something in production at the moment," Massoudi added. "That's all I can say right now. There will be something coming out."

Oh, I have no doubt that's true.  I suspect, however, once Lisi's trial gets underway and evidence becomes public record, there's going to be some other video on youtube that might be more entertaining.

Look, this guy was already on one of the "let's look to american republicans as virtuous" propaganda TV shows.  We already know what he's going to say here.

Republicans have no trouble with being told what to believe by drug addled, fat white men.

Hope he does a remote in West Virginia, with his buddy and coke-dealer owner of Freedom Industries, as long as it's not watered down.

The sad thing is, it will get tons of views of people looking for a freak show and the Fords will interpret it as massive support. They are completely delusional.

I'm Farley certain this joke has been made already.

There is a not-zero possibility he will be arrested before he gets this sh*tshow off the ground.
And let's not forget the SunTV show that in spite of network record ratings, was simply too expensive to continue to produce. It took them 8 hours to shoot, 24 to edit for less than 44 mins of air time.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Mayor's less spectacular f*ck-ups here is a list of 133 things other than a crack video he's done.

Seems redundant, given that his tenure as mayor IS a YouTube show, with "highlights" like:

I still think he and his brother are a sadder (and less musical) version of The Blues Brothers

The Booze Brothers, if you will

I think once the Lisi trial starts (or a deal is cut) Ford is going to be in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Lisi's pre-trial conference is today, if there is a deal in place we may hear about it tonight...

Unless he's able to really promise Lisi something, I wouldn't be surprised to see the mayor doing his youtube show from prison.

Considering how badly beaten-up Rob Ford's ex brother-in-law (that had threatened him, allegedly due to drug debts) was in jail, I'd suggest the Mayor as plenty of friends in low places, and with his regular support for front line law enforcement, enough guards looking the other way that someone might want to ask for a transfer out of province if one were on Ford's bad side and facing prison.

Maybe that will keep Lisi from talking too much.

Are they Rob's buddies or Doug's? My money would be on Doug's, as he was the dealer in the family.

Or all the right reasons if you're a non-Toronto resident enjoying the gong show.

Good point about Doug, but if he's still dealing he'd be several levels up from the street guys Robby's making movies with.  Even in the time frame the Globe article talked about, he was already selling to street level dealers.  More likely he's not dealing, and out of it all together at that level.  I get a feeling from him that he's dirty, in a more, umm, organized, way and certainly able to pull strings that way.

It wouldn't surprise me if Deco Labels was a front for importing drugs.

/not based on any evidence, just a gut feeling.

Well, according to lore, it was all Doug's idea to expand into the States (even against Daddy's wishes).  Interesting choices for where to set up shop, not too far from Atlantic City (since closed) and Chicago.  And a P.O. box office in south Fla.
<speculation>
Now if there is some *organized* relationship with the Fords it's likely to be with the 'Ndrangheta (That has a significant presence in Vaughn) and that would more likely make Deco an exporter to the States before an Importer to Canada.
</speculation>
Almost all the coke that ends up in Europe from South America moves through Canada on it's way. And basically all of that has 'Ndrangheta fingerprints on it.
