Paula also went after her manicurist.

If I were her hairdresser, I'd be feeling a mite nervous...

Subby is a cold hearted snake.

Subby also fails at reading comprehension. Abdul wasn't burned while tanning; she was doing some bogus "infrared body wrap treatment" that claimed to burn 1200 calories in 50 minutes. If you were to burn calories at that rate while running, you'd be doing 3-minute miles.

Still wouldn't mind rubbing some aloe on her.

She was a short dance teacher with a weak voice, but apparently crazy enough in the sack that an exec at Virgin Records said "Make her a star."

Truly the modern American dream, even if now she's just crazy.

I'd hit it, back away from it in embarrassment, apologize to it and tearfully tell it this has never happened to me before.

give me doughnuts: I'm just wondering why she was tanning?

She wasn't -

she visited Uvasun West Inc. tanning salon in Los Angeles on Jan. 20, 2012, for a "SlimStar infrared body wrap treatment," according to the lawsuit filed on Jan. 9 in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The website for Uvasun claims that the SlimStar "heat therapy" is a "weight control, inch loss, pain management, detoxification system," that allows users to burn "1,200 or more calories in just one 50-minute session."

Because a tanning salon is where I go for all my pain-management needs.

Some people use them as they to get a base tan, as they are ashen white, so that they can spend some time outside with turning into crispy bacon.

I once did a quick session in a tanning bed because I was part of a wedding in the middle of winter, and since I work nights my skin hadn't seen the sun in a while so I was quite pale.  I just wanted to get a little color so I didn't look like a vampire in the wedding pictures.

I actually have a nice olive complexion, but my wife is a typical red-head with very pale skin. She uses a tanning bed to get a base tan to help her not get sunburns when she is outside.

We actually bought the tanning bed that she used as the salon that had it went out of business. I just have to wire it in. It was only $250!

Used to tan at my dermatologists office for treatment. Hated smelling like human bacon til I could shower. That and being the only tan person in NH during the winter.

Well, I have a friend who tans to help his psoriasis. I'm not sure where does it though, but it's probably at his dermatologist's office.

"allows users to burn "1,200 or more calories in just one 50-minute session."

I'm no expert or anything but burning that many calories that fast doesn't sound like a healthy thing to do.

If it's for Psoriasis, it's probably done at his Dermatologist's office. The lights they use give off UVB which are beneficial for sufferers and reduce the spread of the lesions.  Regular tanning beds just give off UVA which aren't nearly as beneficial.
