And Drew Carrey STILL muster must emotion or reaction.

Remember the kid that won something huge, like a million dollars or something?  Drew was like "Hey, great job.  Ok, have your pets spayed. Goodnight."

Well of course he waited until after she won all that fancy stuff! Smart man!

Dude looks like he just woke up from a three-day nap. Would it have killed you to dress in something other than Stoner Formal for two minutes?

So proposals don't involve asking, "will you marry me?" anymore? You just make a statement and you're done?

It would be pretty obvious if he dressed up considering they had to stand outside for hours (some sleep outside in tents to get in the show).

It wouldn't have been a surprise if he was dressed up or had a change of clothes.

Way to set the bar high for yourself.  Now every birthday, anniversary and holiday you get to be reminded that nothing you ever do or buy is better than this.

Enjoy that

If I ever have a day like that, you bet I'm buying some lotto tickets too just in case. Good for her, though, she seems like a sweet girl.

I like the one with bob barker better. Guy spun it and asked his wife in the audience and it landed on the dollar. This guy wasn't even supposed to be there she spins and he barged on stage? Grumpy cat face.

Given that she was grabbing the ring out of his hand before he got the first word out of his mouth, I'd say it wasn't necessary in this case.

I remember watching Price is Right a lot as a kid growing up. I always felt bad for Bob when some great big built like a linebacker guy would win a car or something, bear hug him and lift him off the ground.

I miss him getting mad at contestants who kept completely screwing up at the games.

Getting to bang one of the Models?

2014-01-14 01:02:31 PM
One of the funniest things I ever saw on the show, and I don't think anyone involved with the show realized what they did, was when one of their prize suppliers was a furniture company. They provided a bedroom suite. During the showcase they featured it with a model lying on it in lingerie and the name of the company under her. So there she is in a nightgown lying on a bed with the word "Hooker" splashed across the screen.

I think everyone is missing the bigger thing here.  The dude probably conspired with his wife and told one of the people picking the contestants "Hey, if my girlfriend gets up there I'll ask her to marry me."  The casting person thinks this is a good idea and the girl gets picked for sure.  I'd say it's a brilliant scam.

Sweet for them. I hope they enjoy Bora Bora for a nice honeymoon.

...

Man, does Drew Carey just look weird now? I mean, aces on him losing all that weight an' all, but seriously, he looks like an underinflated balloon now. again, good on him, but ya gotta say, just a tiny bit odd looking.

/from someone who is fully inflated....

Well, considering Carrey claims to hate his job and only does it for the money, he'll do just his job and be going home.

You've never seen the Price Is Right? Jesus.  It's like when I find out an adult has never tried chinese food.  Completely baffling how it could have occurred.

I liked how Bob Barker used to say 'Get your pets spayed AND neutered.'  Always funny.

That was the kid that got the showcase price exactly right and won both of them.  I read an article on that a few years ago and at the time the producers thought the guy was cheating and told Carey.  Carey was pretty pissed off about that, hence the quick sign off and no real reaction from him.
