I am sitting in the morning
At the diner on the corner
I am waiting at the counter
For the man to pour the coffee

I hate to be That Guy, but they didn't actually film any scenes inside the diner.

That's obvious to everyone in the world other than subby. The exterior of the diner is one of the few shots taken in New York. Even the apartment shot they use a lot is actually LA

Believe it or not, they're not really at Monks,

The cafe's just an ex-ter-i-or.

They're not at Monks then they must be in LA.

Where could they be?

Who gives a fark, it ain't the nineties

Yeah, right. Next you're going to tell me that Friends wasn't filmed in  New York either.

Not a big fan of iceberg lettuce.

The people are nice, and it's definitely a place to go if you're in the mood for a chocolate shake or some other stick-to-your-ribs kinda food, but in terms of food quality it's nothing special.

/Yes, there are autographed photos of the Seinfeld gang on the walls, along with a lot of other celebrities.

Back in 2001, I had to take some auditors from Connecticut into the city for some spot checks. They were both huge Seinfeld fans and I took them there for lunch.

Nothing memorable. But they both got a kick out of saying they went there.

My guess is he's one of the next guests on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Which is a good show if you haven't seen it.

It's obvious, one of them is dying of cancer and they wanted to see the sights together one last time.

This show was shot almost exclusively in Burbank, California (Warner).

I'm gonna call it as a few commercials for the Super-Bowl.

/Seinfeld is still better than anything currently in production on television
//bring it back, motherfarkers

Better send a film crew to the soup place on 59th street(?) just in case

Richards already did an episode and he and Jerry discuss the successful Americans issue. Really a good episode.
