How about Pasadena? That is close-ish to Burbank.....also I live here so it would be all kinds of easier for me.

Angelinos y Naranjalitas! Whether you're in Bakersfield (I'm sorry) or Alhambra (626 represent), we need more Fark partying.

Viv held the last one in Burbank, thus the handle. We need unity, be you in the Valley, another valley, on a mountain, in the vast plains south of LAX, downtown (aka Brooklyn Next), or anything in or near Los Angeles County. I represent West Hollywood east of Fairfax, not to be confused with actual Hollywood.

(This is starting to feel way too much like I hadn't left Boston.)

I vote for the 94th Squadron, because it'd be easier to hear ourselves talk. Great food, too -- although there is a Jack in the Box and a Menchies Yogurt across from the Tattle Tale.

Look, if you want to be anywhere near Burbank, go here: Golden Road Brewing.  It's at the intersection of the 5 and 134 freeways, less than 10 minutes from Burbank (as opposed to Van Nuys or Culver City).

Great menu, good selection of beers, guest taps, and plenty of space.

I just ate there on Saturday. The beer is great, but the food is... lacking.

We are changing the party name, as it were, the original party was the "impromptu Burbank Fark party", I'll update the page when we have enough votes

What did you get?  They have sweet potato tots.  Ridiculous.

I recommend you switch it to Sardo's in Burbank, on a Tuesday night.  Partake in porn star karaoke.  Sienna Sinclaire hosts tomorrow night.

Hell, even if Fark doesn't go, some of you should check it out.

2014-01-13 05:37:34 PM
Hell... why not just have it in Huntington Beach and call it Burbank.

I 2nd that. Good beer, plenty of space and a gigantic Jenga set for when the conversation gets boring.

Downtown would be cool too. There is a beer and wine bar across the street from me that has a shiat-ton of craft beers and wines.

http://www.bottlerockla.com/

They have a nice lounge area that I can reserve and good outside seating for the smokers.

Never been to Golden Road but it's one of the usual beers I drink at Bottle Rock.

Metro Rail Blue and Expo line has a stop one block away.

keygrip, let me know if you're ever in the area and we can tie one on.

May I ask why you didn't come to the Los Angeles Party in December?

We had a big party then...

One vote for Culver City because I'm on the westside.

Are you ever in downtown? I live right across the street from LA Live and Staples. My wife spends a lot of time in Pasadena with some of her private students and we go to SGV every couple weeks for shopping.

I'm working in Burbank now, FYI, back in the biz again...

Damnit why do you gotta be so contrary!

The funny this was, that DJembarrassment was there at the tattle tale room 2 days ago and he didn't even know we were considering that place, I originally wanted it at the tattle tale room, but I said, let the Farkers decided.

2014-01-13 08:15:46 PM
Decisions. I'm an aerospace engineer, so I'd want to go with Aero Squadron, but the Valley is the Valley, and Culver City is nearby....

I'll go with Culver.

I helped organize the first LA Fark party, my goodness over 10 years ago.  It was on Main in Santa Monica. Drew met Brooks. We saw Wheaton perform the night before somewhere.

You won't believe how many times I've heard about the Santa Monica Fark party, I wouldn't mind hearing your version! I'm all ears!

Good night, today was exciting

My vote would be Tattle Tale

2014-01-14 06:45:32 PM
I realize I can't make this one, so go ahead and nullify my vote.

(Why do I have no parties months and then multiple parties on the same day?)

2014-01-24 06:43:48 PM
So it looks like it's been decided. Now, for once, there's a reason for me to drive to Van Nuys. :)

2014-01-25 08:12:37 PM
Oh! I hope I can go to this.

2014-01-25 08:15:35 PM
Also, I don't have access to the Facebook event you linked. :(
