Oh wow, a greenlit "Improv Everywhere" link. How un-improvised.

Yes I'm one of those complainers when a paid-for link doesn't say "Sponsored Link".

I think only a small fraction of them are.  Why else would anyone willingly link to cracked.com?

I'm not sure why this is still a thing, though?

It was surprising, maybe shocking the first time.  But if you do it every year?

it can't be accidental that this immediately follows a "masturbating pervert on subway" thread.  can it?

That 3 month old isn't a "participant", since he's wearing pants.

Does living in New York suck so much that you have to do stuff like this to keep your sanity?

I like how the 'subway rapist' and 'people riding the subway in their underwear' articles are right next to each other.

This is fine, but the version I like best is from a few years back, when everyone on the platform would give their pants to one guy, who would then walk through the cars holding them and saying "pants...getcher pants here. Five dollar pants...who wants pants?", and some of the pantsless would then stop him and "buy" their pants from him like he was selling umbrellas or something.

the money is in the banana stand: Does living in New York suck so much that you have to do stuff like this to keep your sanity?

Its mostly people from the fly-overs who come and do this garbage. Peter-pan syndrome never-grow-up kidults who's only goal in life is to be different just like everyone else.

And no thanks to any of those girls. Nothing against their bodyshapes, but i want no part of unwashed hipster slit.

I didn't want any part of unwashed hipster slit before it was mainstream.

It's not to surprise or shock an audience, it's just silly fun for the participants.

I'm not going to look up the timestamp, because ew, but there's definitely a little girl without pants on in that video.  It certainly wasn't pornographic, but definitely might be an interesting point of discussion.  Certainly no more revealing than a bathing suit.  It definitely struck me and made me question the puritanical fear and body shaming that is a cultural norm here, which is probably the point.

My favorite part was laughing at the people that seemed utterly confused by the occurrence of a widely publicized event, on it's 13th year. It was like an animated photo albumn of people that don't pay attention to the internet.
